Questions engineers ask.
What counts as a "decision"?
Every tool call any agent in your tenant proposes — one call, one score, one decision. Reads count the same as writes. The gate never silently retries; if you see one decision on your bill, an agent proposed it once.
What happens after the 14-day trial?
Full Pro features for 14 days, no card required. At day 14, you can upgrade to Pro or fall back to Hobby (25 decisions/month, 1 seat, 2 MCP servers). We never auto-charge.
How does metered billing actually work?
Pro is $29/month base + $0.05 per decision, billed daily to Stripe. You can cap monthly spend in settings — when the cap is hit, new decisions park for manual approval instead of running. No overage invoices.
Can I self-host?
The open-source core (sansin-core on PyPI) runs standalone — MIT-licensed. Enterprise adds hosted control-plane, SSO, and audit-stream connectors to the self-host option. Hobby and Pro are cloud-only.
Does the agent itself cost extra?
Sansin is the control plane in front of your agents — we don't run the models. You bring your own Claude (or any MCP-speaking agent). Model tokens are billed directly by Anthropic / your provider. Our bill is just base + decisions.
Can I switch or cancel?
Upgrade, downgrade, or cancel anytime from the Stripe customer portal in your dashboard. Downgrading preserves your audit history for the remainder of the billing period.
